The Couple and their Guests

Susan and Sergiy are such a sweet, loving, fun couple. They were so excited during their big day, but still had a calming presence. The bridesmaids and bride were having fun, while the groomsmen were also having a great time. When we spoke with them before their wedding, we instantly clicked with them and knew this was going to be a great wedding. They explained to us how their wedding would be one of the first of their many big milestones that they were to celebrate. After their wedding in New Jersey, they were eventually going back to Ukraine to celebrate their marriage with the groom’s family. In addition to this, they truly were in for an exciting week, not only with their upcoming wedding, but Susan was also graduating from medical school in that same weekend, and then moving off to Chicago. Truly an exciting couple of days for a truly awesome couple!

We were so thrilled to know that both Susan and Sergiy had attended City College of New York, which is our Alma matter as well, and were so happy to see many City College alumni at the party. When the best man gave his speech and mentioned creating a formula to explain their love, we couldn’t help but remember our awesome peers from City College who would probably say something similar. Everyone from the family to the friends at this wedding were so happy, joyful, and fun to be around, that we almost felt part of the party ourselves.

The Venue: Jack’s Barn

As soon as we stepped into the venue we were in awe with how utterly gorgeous Jack’s Barn was. It made for a picture perfect rustic wedding and had beautiful details everywhere we turned. The lighting was romantic, and lovely making for a great wedding mood. Everything from the bridal suite to the ceremony and reception area was purposefully decorated to look amazing. We loved how the ceremony included mixed and match chairs and how they quickly transformed the ceremony location to the reception. The beautiful farm tables accented with candles and a runner of flowers created a romantic intimate dinner for the couple and their guests. In addition, the barn space had a great space for dancing the night away that made for an awesome party at Jack’s Barn. This wedding shows how great people + an awesome venue + amazing vendors makes for an unforgettable wedding, We wish these two much love and happiness on their exciting journey!
